About this role
We’ve got a brilliant opportunity for a Marketing Executive who wants to gain varied experience in a fast-paced, fun, friendly agency via a split role with some Office Manager/Admin responsibilities.
This is a creative role, and we are looking for someone with a lot of energy and enthusiasm and ideas.
You’ll be supporting on campaigns for our clients and marketing for the agency for about 80% of your time, with the other 20% spent helping the smooth running of the business/studio. This split role means you’ll become seriously indispensable in the agency. We’d love to see you grow, and others in the Office Manager role have gone on to become Strategists, Account Managers and even the Managing Director.
In your Marketing Exec role, you will support the Client Services and Strategy team on client campaign projects, feeding into marketing plans, content creation, trends and research, managing social media for our clients and much more. You’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of people, roles and creative projects, across marketing, branding, strategy and digital.
You will also work with our Strategy and Creative teams on agency marketing, managing our social media accounts, creating content for the agency, managing client surveys and case studies, managing email marketing campaigns, event management and growing our reputation for the brilliant work we do. You’ll also help us stay up to speed with trends and news, to inspire the rest of the business with things you’ve seen.
Alongside this, for the smaller portion of your time, you’ll also help manage the day-to-day running of the studio, acting as front of house, general admin, running the building and bringing good vibes through birthdays and surprises. We are a close (and super friendly) team and need a capable person to ensure the agency runs smoothly by being adaptable, getting stuck in, and showing us where we can improve (we love trying new things). We don’t expect you to pick all of this up at once, and at first, it’ll take up more time. We’ll provide lots of opportunities for shadowing, support and training, and in a couple of months you’ll have the hang of it.
We want someone who’s comfortable communicating in person, as well as by email, who is confident and willing to have a go at things; in fact, one of our favourite (totally unofficial) mottos is, ‘Let’s give it a go, and if it doesn’t work, we’ll try something else’.
We’re ideally looking for someone with a bit of experience in an agency, so you have an idea of what it’s like in this kind of environment. You’ll be working hybrid, with 2 days at home, 3 days in the studio (though like most agencies, we do review this from time to time and it could change).
Core responsibilities:
Marketing exec role (80%)
