CEG has a strong reputation for developments that balance the needs of employers with the health and wellbeing of their employees. As their flagship development in the heart of Bristol, EQ, clearly demonstrates. The building provides 200,000 sq ft of office space over seven floors, offered as a premium location for high quality corporate occupiers. The defining aspect however, for both the building and the brand that supports it, has been the idea of
balance.

It has been designed to give all users every opportunity to make the most of their time in work and out of hours. With nearly 20,000 sq ft of dedicated amenity space, it features a fitness studio for yoga and meditation classes, as well as 263 cycle parking places and dedicated shower facilities. Sustainable design and operation have been the highest priorities throughout as the building has taken shape.

EQ brand guidelines

The brand we created allowed the developers to tell a compelling story to prospective occupiers. The name EQ, developed by ThreeTenSeven (formerly Thompson), is derived from 'equilibrium' highlighting the central concept. Visually, the brand plays to this idea, offsetting images of work and life. While at the centre of the scheme is the EQ logo, designed to suggest an opposing tension.

Applied across website, online brochure, promotional movie and signage, the value of the EQ brand has shown itself in the early demand for space with 45% pre-let to Arup and PaymentSense, and a further 10% under offer.
