I hope January has been a good one — it certainly has for us here at ThreeTenSeven.
One month in to 2026 already, and what a start to the year it's been. We hit the ground running on that strange first day back on Friday 2nd January. Most of you weren't back at work yet so it allowed us a valuable wake-up day to get set ahead of the first full week after the Christmas break.
Before I dive in I just wanted to highlight that last week included Time to Talk day (5th February each year) — a day dedicated to talking more openly about mental health by our friends at Mind. It's easy for us to forget how difficult it is to share how we're feeling. We work in this space often and encourage open dialogue across the business (I am also Mental Health First Aid trained), but even I find it hard to be honest sometimes, opting for the oh-so-familiar 'Yeah I'm good, thanks" response rather than the honest answer. There's a lot going on in life, and the world, and we all have times where we'd benefit from being more open with those around us about how we feel. We don't need just one day for that, we should be doing it regularly.
So if you aren't feeling great today, please, tell someone. You'll feel a lot better for it.

We've completed our B Corp Impact Report earlier than previous years — still late of course — but at least published before the end of January (it's supposed to be December). We also re-certified at the end of the year and improved our score significantly, which we're all really proud of. You can give that a read on the link below.

For those who got to the end of our newsletter in December, you'll have seen that we planned to launch our own podcast — a little late to the game, maybe, but we're excited about the insight we're uncovering. We recorded our Pilot which explains what it's all about, and now we're in the process of recording our first episodes with some really exciting guests from the health tech space. We also renamed it and gave it a proper identity, as we do.

Rach took herself off to lovely Norwich last week…
In her own words "I spent yesterday in a room with 7 budding health tech innovators and I'd guess 30 expert advisors, all of us crowded round trying to pack those inventors' brains with as much insight as we could as part of a Health Innovation Sprint."

We came across this beautiful website last week, which caused some good discussion in the studio. The premise is simple — contributors share uplifting, comforting, supportive messages with the viewers of the website, hoping to lift spirits and share a little joy, ultimately preventing suicide. Whether you're struggling with your mental health or not, I encourage you to spend a few minutes reading some of the content as it's guaranteed to leave you feeling a little warmer inside.
If there's one thing I took away it's that even the smallest of positive interactions can change someone's outlook, and whether it's for a moment or a lifetime, the effort is always worth it.
There's probably no better point to end on, so let's leave it there for this month.
Until next time…
Chris
