First Annual TTS Sports Day is total success

Last week we swapped our desks for the local park and hosted our first ever team sports day – and it was brilliant. We’ve always believed in getting out of the office and doing something together, and even better when it’s outdoors. It fits perfectly with our focus on health and wellbeing, just like our annual Christmas walk in the Dales.

The day had everything: great competition, people working within their limits (mostly), and a surprising amount of tactics and planning. Who knew the three-legged race was such a challenge? Let’s just say the next-day aches were real. A torrential downpour meant our picnic moved under gazebos, but the food and doggy visitors kept spirits high.

Rounders in the afternoon brought even more energy (and more than a little sass), and thankfully no injuries this time. Huge thanks to everyone who organised it and took part, you were brilliant.

Here’s to next year’s games… and maybe a little training beforehand.
